I have prepared a video about the campaign from the start til the end as follow. Hope you enjoy it 🙂
It is never enough to say thanks to those who have supported the flood-affected people through “Hearts Warm Hearts”. I hope you can see the love and the happiness shining in the eyes of those people when they received your gifts.
In each of the 3 areas, I gave 20 gift packs, which comes to 60 families in total. Apart from that, I also came to visit especially severely affected families. You can see the pictures below to get to know more about their situations.
Nguyen Thi Hai Yen (25 years old) died when her boat capsized during the flood, leaving behind her mom, husband, a 4-year-old son and a 5-year-old daughter.
Nguyen Thi Hoan (39 years old), a single mom taking care of 2 children. Her house is in a really bad condition after the typhoon. 3 dogs and a pig are her most valuable possessions.
Nguyen Kim Tiep, 24 years old. His dad left years ago. His mom died from cancer 3 years ago.
Dinh Thi Chuyen, 85 years old. She is paralyzed, living with her daughter. She had to stay in her neighbor’s house during the floods.
Le Thi Hong’s family. The son died in an accident. His wife has to take care of the whole family, including 3 elderly people and 3 children.
Le Hoang Minh, 3 years old. His adopted dad died one month ago, leaving behind a single mom with a child and elderly parents
Le Huy Luong, 10 years old. He is adopted by Dinh Thi Loc. She sells vegetable from her garden for a living. The garden was severely ruined by the floods.
Nguyen Thi Canh, 83 years old. She is living alone in a cottage. Water will come through the roof whenever it rains.
Nguyen Thi Yen Nhi, 17 years old. Her dad died when she was 1 year old. She is living with her grandparents, her mom and her siblings. The sole income to support the whole family comes from her mom.
